Carey Price will be in front of the net today for the Montreal Canadiens as the Habs will take on the struggling Oilers tonight at the Bell Center. Price, who'll be seen without his famous Movember mustache, was recently announced as the recipient of November's Molson Cup and is coming off a strong month. He has played three career games against the Oilers (W1 - L2) and has a 4.32 GAA with a .833 Save Percentage.
Josh Gorges, who missed the last two practices due to therapy days returned on the ice today and will be in the lineup. Gorges was replaced by Weber at the previous practices and it seems unlikely that Weber will be in the lineup tonight.
In addition, Montreal defenceman Jaroslav Spacek will be playing his 800th NHL game tonight. Spacek, who is in his 13th NHL season, started his career in 1998-1999 with the Florida Panthers and has since played on six different teams. He joined the Habs as a free-agent before the start of 2009-2010 season.
The Oilers have had a slow start to the season but are coming off a strong win in their last game against the Ottawa Senators. Out of the 23 games the Oilers have played, they have only won seven times. Their offense has been struggling with only 59 Goals to show for. This will be the first of two games between the two teams this season. The next game will take place in Edmonton on February 17th.
